Cornus canadensis


Woodland groundcover that grows to 6 inches and spreads by underground by rhizomes. Has four showy white bracts that surround the flowers in early summer, followed by a clusters of red berries. Generally a shade plant but will grow in full sun in cooler areas. Needs cool, moist, acidic soil.
